Ways to lose weight fast -- safe and healthy!

The wedding date is finally set and you want to look your best on this special day! As your wedding gets closer and closer, and you want to lose some weight quickly for the wedding, you’ll be asking your friends and family and scouring the internet for some great weight loss tips. Here are some ideas on how you can drop extra pounds off your body and look simply fabulous on your wedding day!

Be realistic in your weight loss goals.
Trying to lose too much in a short amount of time, will only get you super stressed out before your wedding. Set realistic goals for your weight loss diet -- don’t try to lose more weight than is healthy in the time you have available.

Use Healthy Methods and Strategies to Lose Weight.
Far too many brides try to starve themselves and do other extreme things to lose weight fast, and if this is a plan that you are contemplating, there are definitely some things that you should keep in mind about this rapid weight loss. The truth is that losing weight fast before your wedding is an incredibly poor idea, and no one will suffer for it more than you will. It is important to remember what quick weight loss will do for you. Essentially, you are simultaneously speeding up your metabolism while putting your body into starvation mode -- basically, you are looking to get by with putting less calories in your body than it is uses. These are two contradictory impulses and you risk either not losing weight at all, or damaging your body's ability to regulate its response to food and nutrition. In a surprisingly short amount of time, you can do permanent damage to your body, so don't risk it!

Eat low fat foods.
If you are trying to lose weight really fast, eating low fat foods is the easiest way to lose weight. Prepare your own lunches for work using as little or no butter, margarine, mayonnaise, or oil as possible. In general, it is more difficult to control the fat in your diet when eating out or having take-out food. If you choose to eat out, order grilled, or baked lean meats that have no added fats. Be aware that some salads have a higher fat content and thus more calories, than some meat dishes. Caeser dressing, or any cream-based dressings will be high in fat.

Avoid junk foods such as fatty fast foods, chips, doughnuts, chocolate bars and soda pop.
By cutting all those useless and empty calories found in junk, fatty foods and drinks, you are cutting around 500 calories a day. You have to stick to it or else you just won't be able to lose weight for the wedding! This is the best way to start to naturally lose weight fast. In fact, you’ll probably start to see good results from avoiding junk foods very soon after you stop eating them!

Have three regular meals each day and a light snack mid afternoon.
Have three regular, healthy meals a day, and in the middle of the afternoon, have a light or low calorie snack, such as fresh fruit or some crackers with low fat cheese. This will maintain your energy level and control your appetite before dinner. Skipping breakfast and/or lunch will only cause your body to slow down; that is, your body will not burn as much energy if you skip meals. Therefore, you will tend to gain weight and get that sense of fatigue so commonly experienced by people who skip meals or who try to lose weight quickly.

Include fat burning foods in your diet plan.
Diet plans that include eating fat burning foods can help to increase your metabolism and manipulate your fat burning hormones. Don't worry, it's completely safe! Eating fat burning foods can actually burn fat much faster than some exercises and other diets and thus can promote weight loss. Fat burning foods go a step beyond simply adding no fat to your system – they possess special properties that add zip to your system and help your body melt away unhealthy pounds. These fat burning foods can also suppress your appetite for junk food and keep your body running smoothly with clean fuel and efficient energy. As a general guideline, stick to foods high in fiber and protein, and you will have the highest chances of losing weight. Exercise is an important part of your wedding weight loss plan.
The best thing to do when wanting to drop a few pounds is to make sure that a proper diet and exercise routine is followed. Part of your wedding diet should include exercise to lose weight fast. Brides who feel as though they cannot go about a new exercise routine alone should consult with a personal trainer. You should be doing at least 45 minutes of combined cardio/resistance training 4 days a week in addition to a diet plan in order to make the most of it and achieve the best results.

Cardio workouts are excellent, but interval trainings are much better and they can burn every fat cell of your body in much shorter time. This is a real fat burner -- 1 minute you are running in regular speed and the second minute you are giving your best sprint. It's recommended to repeat this 8 times and do it 4 times a week. IF interval training is too strenuous for you, you can stick with regular cardio exercises like jogging or cycling - 45 minutes 4 times a week have been shown to be effective. Another great way that you can quickly take off some weight is to start drinking more water. Drinking water is the best weight loss program there is. Here’s a closer look at how water can help you meet your easy weight loss goals by your wedding day. Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize fat. Studies have shown that a decrease in water intake will cause fat deposits to increase, while an increase in water intake can actually reduce fat deposits.

Do find a good balance when it comes to food. Eating healthily is a great idea, but that shouldn’t mean that you aren’t allowed to eat the cake when you go to test out your wedding cake baker. Enjoy those snacks at your bridal parties, and have those drinks with your girlfriends at your bachelorette party. You can achieve your wedding weight loss plan.
